Upcoming Seminar

Judy will conduct a seminar with the Hennepin County Bar Association on February 15, 2012 entitled, "Generations in the Law: The Impact of Generational Divides in the Legal Workplace."


Firm News

As an adjunct professor at Hamline Law School, Judy teaches the class "The Business of Lawyering." The fourteen-week class will instruct students on the business aspect of a law firm, expectations of them as they enter the business of law, criteria for partnership in a typical law firm, and what it takes to start and run your own firm.

Judy conducted a free CLE seminar for the Hennepin County Bar Association on April 19, 2011 entitled, "More Money! How to Get Paid for Your Services."

Judy presented her seminar "More Money!" for the Hennepin County Bar Association on February 5, 2010. The seminar topics included: engagement letters, timekeeping language and tips; invoicing and accounts receivable management and collection.

"Think Before You Leap: Starting Your Own Firm," was published in the Missouri Bar Association magazine – Precedent.

Judy authored the article "Starting Your Own Firm," which appeared in the October 2007 issue of Bench & Bar of Minnesota.

Judy was featured in the article "Need an HR Director? Know when to hire and which person to pick." The article appeared in the Law Office Administrator, in April 2005.
